International collaboration

Kaunas State Philharmonic Society actively collaborates with foreign performers and concert agencies.  The International Festival of Young Musicians – “Kaunas” – gathered around nearly 200 young performers from 40 countries of the world, during 19 years of existence. The annual Pažaislis Music Festival presents the concerts of the most famous soloists, musical, and chamber ensembles. Since 1988, Kaunas State Choir participates in the most remarkable international festivals: Bordeaux Spring and Mediterranean Sea fetivals, Reims (France), the Schleswig-Holstein Festival and the Festival of the Countries of Middle Europe (Germany) and many others. The choir collaborated with many famous orchestras, it is acknowledged internationally.
